Furnbedding Returns Policy
Returns – Accepted Conditions
furnbeddding follows the relevant aspects of the Consumer Protection Act of 2008 (CPA) and its amendments. Returns will only be accepted within 5 working days of purchase under the following circumstances:
- Incorrectly Supplied Goods
- If you receive goods that are substantially different from what was ordered, we will arrange for the incorrect goods to be collected and the correct goods to be delivered at no extra charge.
- Materially Defective Goods
- Material defects include issues where the goods are unsuitable for their intended purpose or the defect affects their usage.
- Defects that do not affect the usage or enjoyment of the goods (e.g., minor scratches, dents, marks, or ordinary wear and tear) are not covered.
- furnbedding reserves the right to inspect the returned goods, which may take up to 10 working days, before offering:
- A full refund for manufacturing faults or defective batches,
- A store credit of equivalent value,
- A replacement of the goods with the same or similar items.
- Damaged or Missing Parts
- If goods are damaged or missing parts upon delivery, please notify us immediately We will arrange an exchange, refund, or store credit.
- To return damaged goods, please provide:
- Photographs of the outer and inner packaging,
- Photographs of the damaged goods.
- We will arrange collection of the damaged goods at no charge.
- Cooling Off Period (Consumer Protection Act – CPA)
- Returns for goods purchased from furnbedding can be processed within the first 5 days of purchase, subject to the goods being:
- In their original packaging,
- Unused with tags still attached,
- Accompanied by a valid, dated proof of purchase.
- Return Shipping Costs
- The customer is responsible for return shipping, including insurance. We recommend purchasing insurance to protect against any potential damage during return shipping.
- Refund Processing
- Once the returned stock is received and the refund is approved, payments will be processed to the customer’s account within 7 to 14 days.
Furnbedding Will Not Accept Returns for:
- Buyer’s Remorse
- Returns will not be accepted if the customer changes their mind after purchase.
- Ordinary Wear and Tear
- Returns will not be accepted for goods damaged due to normal use over time.
- Goods Not Purchased from furnbedding
- Returns will not be accepted for items purchased from other retailers.
- Custom or Special Orders
- Goods that are personalized, custom-made, or specifically ordered will not be accepted for return.
- Health and Safety Hazards
- Goods that may pose a health or safety hazard if returned or reused will not be accepted.
- Willful Damage
- Goods damaged by the customer’s gross negligence or willful damage will not be accepted for return.
- Damage Due to Force Majeure
- Goods damaged due to circumstances outside of furnbeddings control (e.g., inclement weather, power surges) will not be accepted for return.
- Delivery Charges
- Customers will be liable for delivery charges in the case of returns under the above conditions.
- Failure to Follow Instructions
- Please read and follow all instructions that come with the goods carefully to avoid issues that could prevent returns.
Exchanges Policy
- furnbedding does not process exchanges for any reason. However, if the customer is unsatisfied with the goods, we will offer a refund or store credit, which can be used to purchase other goods from the website/store
Extended Warranties/Guarantees
- After 6 months, any warranties are managed by the respected manufacturers. Repairs are carried out by suppliers, and furnbedding is not obligated to credit, repair, refund, or replace products beyond this time frame. However, we will facilitate communication with the supplier on your behalf.
